Best Dressed Little Rock is an upcoming fundraiser that combines fashion and philanthropy by having nominated individuals raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Stuttgart native Cade Bethea is among the nominees for the inaugural event.
“The American Cancer Society has had great success with this event in other states and cities,” Bethea said. “There are somewhere between 25 to 35 honorees.”
Bethea is specifically raising money for the American Cancer Society’s transportation fund.
“This is for anything to do with transportation, housing, lodging, and getting a patient to and from cancer treatment,” Bethea said.
The Best Dressed Little Rock event debuts on Friday, June 9, but Bethea has planned a local fundraiser to gather support from his hometown. Residents can attend Stuttgart Twin Cinema on Wednesday, May 31, to support Bethea’s fundraising effort.
“The cinema is graciously donating $1 from each ticket sold to my Best Dressed campaign. On that night, there are two movies showing: the new Little Mermaid and the new Fast and Furious 10. I love that we can support our local movie theater and the American Cancer Society,” Bethea said.

Bethea said he is participating in Best Dressed to celebrate the legacy of someone in his chosen family.
“A big reason I am raising money is in honor of Stacey Homra, who was family to me growing up. We lost her to cancer in 2017,” Bethea said. “Being from Stuttgart and being first touched by cancer in Stuttgart, it just made sense to do a fundraiser where my family is and where people I know will want to come out and support.”
Bethea has already raised over $1,400 for the Best Dressed fundraiser. He said every dollar raised matters.
“Everybody has been touched by cancer. I know this is going to be a special thing,” Bethea said.
