Pictured, at left, are the Cummings twins, the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. William Cummings, being held by nurse Sandra Sheasley. The twins were born at Lock Haven Hospital in 1961, but their names are unknown. Also, on the right, are the Bower twins being held by nurse Norma Winter. The girls, thought to be named Laurie and Leslie, are the daughters of Charles and Marie Bower.
These sets of twins were just two of five sets born in one week’s span during late January and early February, 1961 at Lock Haven Hospital.
