EastEnders‘ Danny Dyer looked every inch the doting grandfather as he met his daughter Dani’s newborn twins.
Love Island star Dani, 26, welcomed twin girls with her West Ham boyfriend Jarrod on Monday, announcing the news in a sweet Instagram post last week.
Danny and Jarrod posed for a beaming snap as they sat side by side, each cradling a baby.
She also shared a photo of her and Jarrod’s mum also posing with the little ones.
It comes after Dani revealed her newborn daughters’ names and the link they have to her firstborn child, Santiago.

Sharing an adorable new snap of her daughters wearing personalised baby grows she announced they were called Summer and Star, opting for monikers starting with S to match her son Santiago.
She penned: ‘Summer & Star.. Our first week together & enjoying every moment of the newborn bubble.
‘it’s been amazing watching santi be a big brother he has melted my heart in ways I couldn’t imagine and he just feels like such a big boy all of a sudden. My heart feels so so full and so excited for our journey together as a family of 5 [sic].’
Dani’s babies’ arrival came just a day after she watched Jarrod score in West Ham United’s final home tie of the season , a 3-1 victory over Leeds United.
Giving a first glimpse at her adorable newborns last week, Dani shared a snap of the twins cosied up in their hospital cot.
While she did not disclose their names, Dani revealed her daughters had been born on Monday as she captioned the snap: ‘22.05.23 [heart].’
Jarred shared the same image on his Story as he gushed: ‘The best week of my life.’
The couple’s friends and loved ones were quick to offer their congratulations, with Dani’s famous father Danny Dyer commenting: ‘Can’t stop smiling. ❤️❤️’
TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou was quick to write ‘Beautiful ❤️❤️Can’t wait to meet them’, while Ashley James penned: ‘Oh wow congratulations ❤️.’
Just a day before the birth, Dani was still keeping active, supporting Jarrod at a match where he won 3-1 with West Ham against Leeds United.
Dani initially thought she was only pregnant with one child when she found out the news, before being told it was twins during a scan on November 29.
Announcing the news at the end of January, she wrote on Instagram: ‘We have been keeping a little secret… Our little TWINS ♡ ♡ So excited to meet our babies and watch santi be the best big brother..

The star, who is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, was inundated with congratulatory messages including several from her fellow Love Islanders.
Shaughna Phillips wrote: ‘Omg congratulations my love!!!!! So happy for you,’ while Kaz Crossley added: ‘Wow congratulations beautiful’.
Dani has been open with her followers throughout her pregnancy, revealing that she had booked herself in for a C-section.
Dani has been in a relationship with Jarrod since 2021, after revealing he was the one to slide into her DMs.
She said: ‘He slid in mine…however, I did have to give him my number I can’t be doing the DM’s for days haha x.’
It comes after Dani’s famous EastEnders dad Danny Dyer, 45, revealed that the star had moved back into the family home ahead of welcoming her twins.
He told Closer : ‘Dani’s only got a couple of months now before she gives birth and she’s doing so well.
‘She’s actually moved back in with us while her new house gets sorted, and it’s been lovely having her around. I’ve got so much respect for that kid, she’s amazing.’
In February Danny said he was ‘over the moon’ at the pregnancy news but said it was ‘petrifying’ at the same time – as he would ‘have three grandkids under three’.
In a Q&A on Instagram she revealed she had been ‘crying all the time’ as she neared the end of her pregnancy.
Dani admitted her symptoms have been extremely different to when she was expecting her son Santiago.

She said: ‘I have been soooo emotional I cry all the time! The tiredness has been hard but I think that’s from the low iron levels.. and just want spicy food all day long!’
The brunette beauty also said her mum will ‘definitely be round all the time’ to help her out after she gives birth to her twins.
Dani is planning to dress her identical girls the same to start with and has already thought of a special way of identifying them.
She wrote: ‘I’m going to paint one of their toenails and then write in my notes whose toenail is painted. But they might have small differences that we notice? Not too sure but the painted toenail is the answer for me x [sic].
‘I definitely will dress them the same at the beginning because it excites me all the pink frilly dresses.
‘However as they start to get a bit older I’ll dress them differently just so they have there own identities x [sic]’.
The influencer also revealed she was booked in for a planned C-section, said she is getting ready to ‘pack her hospital bag’ just in case the twins arrive early.
She said: ‘Yes we have! Finally starting to feel a bit more settled there was a point where there was so many boxes around me and didn’t know where to starts. There’s still work to do but it feels like a home and I love it.
‘I’m starting to feel more ready now! The nursery is getting there and started to order all the essentials.
‘However I’m not going too crazy on clothes as not sure on sizing/how hot our summer will be ..
‘In 2 weeks time I’m going to pack my hospital bag and start washing there stuff just in case they decide to come early.’
The reality star had to have an emergency C-section when giving birth to Santiago.
Speaking on Instagram previously she said: ‘I have been booked in to have a planned c-section. Because I had an emergency c-section before they felt the safer way would be for the twins to be delivered by c-section again.
‘Especially because they are identical twins, it’s always a bit more risky. I have always wanted a vaginal birth, but I knew I had to listen to my consultant.
‘As soon as I found out I should have a c-section, I instantly felt so guilty and worried about the recovery.

‘I still want to be able to pick Santi up and run around and do the activities I usually do but because Santi is still only little himself, I can’t really explain why mummy can’t do her usual activities.
‘So much is changing but I still want him to think I can be the best mummy possible.’
Dani found fame on the fourth series of Love Island in 2018 which she won alongside then boyfriend Jack Fincham.
However, it wasn’t meant to be for the couple as they broke up later that year and Dani later got together with Sammy Kimmence, who she had dated prior to Love Island.
Dani welcomed Santiago in January 2021 and split from Sammy in July of that year after he was sentenced to three years in jail for a £34,000 scam.
